I am
working on my newly designed bag, it has very cute applique at the front and
back of the bag. The applique is
inspired by our childhood story. I
managed to complete the second piece of my applique today. One more to go ^v^. Here is a little preview of my works. I’ll let you guess the story behind

A special pouch for a special friend, Emi Miyase san ^v^
I am so thrilled when my Japanese friend, Emi, who sent so many lovely gifts for me to mark our friendship for so many years. She even made me a very cute piggy pouch that warms my heart completely.
I really can't thank her enough. The only way I can show my utter appreciation is to make a very unique gift, just for her.
Though i was inspired to make a pouch like this but what to make then ? I did some sketching and I kept looking at the piggy pouch to see what come out from my mind. Sometimes you can sit for whole day and never get any idea coming your way. So, I did an hour of line dance (totally addicted to it) . Maybe the exhaustion help to 'spark some light' in my mind and there comes my idea , a carriage !!! This idea is pretty fresh, not many people are making carriage pouch i think ^v^.. (giggle)

Starting my new projects
Recalling what projects I've made last year, I found that I have totally no time to do anything at all because throughout last year, I was like working full time as a mover. Moving from Shanghai back to Malaysia in March, then moving from my old home to new condominium in Kuala Lumpur .. etc. I am now expert in packing and unpacking things already.
Finally I am now back to my new studio, working on my new projects, the feeling was just so great !! Here are my elegant cosmetic / traveling pouches, aren't they lovely to carry along ? Hope you will like all my works ( ^v^ )

Little House on the Hills at 4 Seasons pouch series.
I have not been able to update my latest news for so long. After moving back to Kuala Lumpur, now i am able to access Facebook and blogspot any time I like without the need to go through any VPN any more, YES !!
Before I started myself to full mode again. Here is a little pouch I recently made and wished to share with all of you. This pouch is just too good to carry around, especially if I am going out for leisure outings, without the need to carry so many things at all. Some friends saw my earlier little house version and immediately requested me to make the little house pouch for them , designs and everything is up to me. Well, here you are. I have been keeping my promise well, my dear friends.
My new series, little house on the hills at 4 seasons ( All sold out ! ^v^ Thank you so much for liking my works).
I also received emails requesting me to make patterns for sell in the future. Yes, I will, my dear friends. Before I am all settled down, please give me some time. You will definitely see my patterns out soon. In fact, I am working on little SunBonnet Sue pencil case now, pattern will be suitable for beginner level. ^v^

Diary of a little cat series is out for sell now.
2013 is really a busy year for me. There are so many changes in my life. I recently moved back from Shanghai to Kuala Lumpur. Though back to our country, we still find it very difficult to adjust. Not only that, I also went through a minor operation just few weeks ago. Though the operation was minor one, I still feel the slight pain from time to time. BUT I still work on things I love the most ... handmade goods ^v^.
Here are my latest series, available for sell in Etsy. (Please be informed that 2 of them were sold out on the day they were launched ).

Story Quilt's April 2012 Sunbonnet Sue romance series
The pouches were supposed to be completed last year, one of the pouches was sold to a big fan of mine, Jenny before I even managed to complete them.
My latest designs are based on a dreamy yet romantic concept. As I enjoy quiet moment with nature so much, I decided to 'draw' my ideas onto my pouches. Please take a look at my dream world....

A simple pouch
I wanted to make this pouch since long time ago but couldn't find a slot to make it. I am now back to my home town for holidays, so now is really a good time to make it. This pouch / bag pattern is based to the following book
Here is the bag I am very interested in.
Have a look at this pattern. I added a zipper to the pocket area, also enlarge the pocket to about 1 1/2 cm.
29/5/2010 Very close to completion now. The last thing to do is to embroider the X stitches to the Hexagon patchwork.
2/6/10 Here we are.
Instead of using plain fabrics for the inner fabric, I prefer to use colorful pattern fabrics for the interial. Take a look
