I just got back from exploring the
northern region of Thailand covering a couple of beautiful places like Chiang
Mai, Sukhorthai, Pai, Mai Hong Song and Ayutthaya. It was an awesome journey especially during
the pandemic period, it is just not possible to travel any where.
After coming back from a challenging trip, only then do I realized I still haven't post this really fun and quick to sew iKAT drawstring tote bag sewing project.
iKAT (meaning to tie in Indonesian
language) drawstring tote bag tutorial is going to be and easy and really fun
to sew project. It is suitable for all levels of sewing skills. Finished project can be used for many
occasions or purposes. a casual tote
bag, crochet or knitting project bag or even a big lunch bag if you wish, the
interior and pockets are just handy to hold and organize your belongings.
This sewing pattern contains 18 pages of
step-by-step photo illustrated instructions (mainly photos) to guide you
through almost every single step of the sewing.
All you need is just very simple sewing materials to start with (refer to last photo for materials required). With just very simple twist of exterior or lining fabrics used, you will surely create very beautiful and unique pouch using this pattern. In this project, I used a printed fabric ribbon as my drawstring, this catches my friends' attention instantly. :D
