Easy-going double zipper pouch sewing pattern

Just one Sewing Pattern to sew up 3 different designs 

for double zip pouches that serve many purposes 

in any occasion.  

You can use the Size L as daily clutch pouch, 

Size M as your iphone bag, traveling bag, 

day out bag.  

While Size S can be used a small handy money 

and makeup pouch, 

notion pouch, and  many other purposes 

that you can think of.

 
All you need is just very simple sewing materials , cute 

scrap fabrics to start. With just very simple twist 

of exterior fabric used, 

you will surely create a very beautiful and unique 

pouch using this pattern. 

 

LARGE - 7(1/2)” (H) X 10” (W) 7(1/2)” 

Spacious Size L pouch will have 2 interior pockets 

to help you organize your essentials .

MEDIUM - H X 5(1/4)” W 4(1/2)”

Size M as your iphone bag, traveling bag, day out bag

SMALL - 4.5" (H) X 5(3/4)” W

The smallest pouch can be used as handy money and 

cosmetic pouch,

 notion pouch, travel pouch etc

Preparing dog hook or O ring holder for your bag project

This tutorial how to prepare your dog hook or O ring for your wallet.  Having this tutorial handy will surely help you in your future project

Some of the short form used in this tutorial :

Seam Allowance (SA) :  1/4″ seam allowance throughout unless otherwise stated. All the pattern templates already included seam allowance.

Top press / top stitch / edge stitch: 1/8” for top press

RST  : Right Sides Together

WST : Wrong Sides Together

Steps

1.  Take the prepared fabric pieces.  Arrange so that they are RST (right side together).  Pin in place,

2. Sew at one side by the seam allowance.

  

3.  Flip the pieces to the front.  Using your finger nail, scratch by the seam to create a crease.

4.  Fold both openings by seam allowance. Pin in place.

5. Top press (1/8”) both edges as shown in photo below.  

6.  Fold the strap into half horizontally.  Slot in the dog hook or O ring.

 7.   Sew it (1/8”) onto your project.

Mia Minimalist minimalist wallet

I am quite amazed from the lifestyle and fashion design of living-less concept.  This wallet sewing pattern is inspired from the minimalism fashion.  It is clean, simple but carry some design elements to it instead of large and bulky long wallet.  It is really light to carry and instantly feel the freedom within yourself when you have this in your tote. 

Mia minimalist wallet is really a really fun to sew and functional minimalist wallet that lets you bring the essentials wherever you go.

By choosing different leather strap and fabric accent combination, you will surely create plenty of sophisticated details. 

It is pretty flat but roomy wallet that offer  a zippered pocket at the cover for your coins and and 2 card slots to cards organized (4 cards possible), while another larger pocket behind provides good size for cash notes, receipts or small documents in place.   It is also quick and simple to make.

After testing my pattern, I quickly made another 2 Mia wallets and really enjoy the process of sewing.  It was really great fun to sew this wallet and I am really happy with the results.
