La locomotive pouch

I saw this beautiful locomotive from one of my books, I have been thinking of making something like that long time ago.  I just can't believe I completed today.    (~~happy~~)

Hmmm.. at the back of the pouch.  I decided to sew little trees.  My train will pass by beautiful forests, so trees are the best match for this theme.

I like this color combinations so much.  Stitching up  time.

An hour later.....

It is so hard to stitch up this little friend here.  Lots of adjustment required.  But it was really fulfilling today.  I stop for now.  Time to focus on my other coursework now.




25/2/2011, 8 : 20 am, after checking up my Facebook.


I have been trying to figure out how should i stitch up the little girl in my Hide and Seek pouch.  It's a big challenge i am sure cause it's small and lots of details are required, some embroidery is required too. 

 

Finally.... time to cook for dinner. So tired.....

Theme for this bag is based on hide and seek.  Hmmm..  I thought of my beautiful childhood,.  Me and my friends always play hide and seek during sunset, always make sure we play to the fullest before dinner time (also before the terrible study time).   Susent was so beautiful that ime.  As a result,  (I made use of this fabric as the background).  It was the most wonderful and joyous time for me.
 
 

I used little fox and my Moomoon, as my friends, they are all so cute !!  The other day, I mentioned that Moomoon looked so tired, why ?  Now that you know why Moomoon is so tired, he has been playing with me for the past 2 hours.  ^v^

It was really sad to see that kids nowadays no longer appreciate this game anymore, they really miss out lots of fun.

I decided to stitch this wonderful memory in my pouch... I am so touch to see the result. 

Very cute country house purse (11/5/08)

  

I have to admit that making this purse was really a tough work.  I didn't want to follow the pattern from my patchwork school instead, I designed and match my own favourite colors.  It was tough in the beginning, I didn't have any ideas what to match at all, so it took me quite to get started.  As the sakizome fabrics I used were very thick, I broke one needle while sewing up the bias strap.  I pierced my fingers many times while sewing up the zipper too (ouch !).  You can imagine how hard I worked on this purse.  But every hard work was just worth it.  I felt so proud and glad to see the result.  My course mates all loved my ideas, some even ask me for the pattern
